Yesterday when we were driving down to Ranthambore from Delhi, we took a new route from Bassi and came across some beautiful villages. The spirit of the colorful festival Rakhi was tremendously enthusiastic. Markets were decorated colorfully, sweet shops were loaded with local masses and all the women around can bee seen in an extremely colorful traditional dresses......I must say what a sight to witness. What I love about our country is that festivals are always celebrated with high spirits, however this time I was fortunate to witness one of the major festival so closely and perfectly the rural way! Am sure that you will agree with me that in Rajasthan its not only its people but even the surroundings looks equally gracious and stunning and are completely soaked in festivities and atmosphere. For me it was one of the best and scenic drive over the past few months.
