About Destination: Jodhpur, also called the "Blue City" located on the edge of the Thar Desert was once the capital of the former princely state of Marwar state founded in 1459 by Rao Jodha and is now the second largest city of Rajasthan. About Daspan House: Daspan House was home to family since 1921, which has been recently restored and converted into a small private luxury hotel. Built on the lines of a medieval style overlooking a Mughal style garden with an open courtyard, verandahs with intricately carved stone pillars and jaalis, all hand crafted by local Artisans. Daspan House reflects the passion of hosts who have tastefully designed and decorated this place to make this an oasis of peace and tranquility With eighteen luxurious rooms with different furniture and bathrooms. Every room has an enclosed overhanging sitting area, borrowed from old palace architecture, Daspan House also offers a rooftop infinity pool, a bar, common lounging area and a restaurant serving local and continental cuisine.
