Nachana Haveli, Jaisalmer
About Destination:
The mirage-like golden city of Jaisalmer, in Rajasthan's Thar desert, conjures up images of an Arabian Nights fable. A former medieval trading center, the most notable characteristic of the town is the abundance of structures built using distinctive yellow sandstone—making any location a picture perfect spot.
The city is dominated by the Jaisalmer Fort, also known as Sonar Qila (Golden Fort). Unlike most forts in India, the Jaisalmer Fort is a living fort. There are shops, hotels and age old havelis (homes) inside the fort area where families have lived for generations.
Rooms: 14 Standard Rooms
